Two Voice Poem

On a day like many others, we did a two voice poem. A two voice poem is a poem that has two voices, well it’s kind of like it has two sides, two speakers. So on one side of the poem is one character talking, and the same thing on the other side of the two voice poem. And if you want to make two people say something at the same time, you move the the sentences/ words on the same line.

San Elijo Lagoon

Since I was absent when my class went on a field- trip to the San Elijo lagoon, I looked it up on Safari. I learned that the desert cotton tail pretty much has super hearing, it could even hear a coyote stepping across the trail from a really far away distance away. And a pocket gopher, unlike hamsters and squirrels, pocket gopher’s cheeks are outside their mouths and twice the size of hamsters and squirrels! The raccoon preys in the shallows, using their sensitive hand-like front paws to feel around for shellfish close to the shore.
